Open House: Cameron Diaz Lists Colorful West Village Pad for $4.25M

Actress Cameron Diaz is listing a colorful Manhattan apartment for $4.25 million, according to listing agent Rebecca Edwardson of Warburg Realty.

Actress Cameron Diaz is listing her Greenwich Village apartment for $4.25 million. The living room has custom rose-colored wallpaper.

The roughly 1,400-square-foot Greenwich Village condo has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a wood-burning fireplace, said Ms. Edwardson, who said Ms. Diaz used the home as her Manhattan residence. Ms. Diaz paid $2.95 million for the prewar 12th Street home in 2008, according to public records. She then gut-renovated it, enlisting West Coast interior designer Kelly Wearstler , Ms. Edwardson said.

Known for using vibrant colors and furniture from various time periods, Ms. Wearstler decorated the home with vintage light fixtures and mirrors. “The apartment faces south so it gets a lot of bright light, and the mirrors accentuate that,” Ms. Edwardson said. The apartment has an emerald-green kitchen with brass countertops; the guest bathroom is black marble and pink onyx, and the living room has custom rose-colored wallpaper.

The furniture isn’t included in the price, but Ms. Diaz would be willing to sell it if a buyer was interested, Ms. Edwardson said.

The apartment measures about 1,400 square feet.

The “Annie” star, 43, recently married rocker Benji Madden. In late 2013 she paid $9.52 million for a three-bedroom unit in the Chelsea condo conversion Walker Tower, according to public records.

The apartment has two bedrooms.
