Celeb Listing: Go Inside Britney Spear’s Opulent New SoCal Estate
It’s been a busy couple of months for pop princess Britney Spears. Not only did she sign on for another two-year residency at the Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Resort & Casino, but the 33-year-old mother of two has also reportedly shelled out $7.4 million for a grand estate in Thousand Oaks ― a city in Ventura County that’s roughly 40 miles from downtown Los Angeles.
Not that Spears is moving far from her current digs — her new Italian-style villa is a nice upgrade from the 8,456-square-foot Hacienda-style spread she bought in 2012 for $6.7 million just a stone’s throw away.
Standing on nearly 21 acres in a gated community, Spears’ new compound consists of a five-bedroom main home spread across a roomy 12,464 square feet. Beyond its breadth, it’s also got some nice high features, like a two-story entry and a great room with 35-foot ceilings.
Other great perks include a fireplace in the great room, an oak-paneled library, media/game room, plus a master suite with another fireplace, two walk-in closets, two bathrooms and a private terrace.
The estate also includes a separate pool house with full kitchen and a temperature-controlled wine cellar with room for 3,500 bottles.
