Barn Renovation Takes A Century Old Structure And Turns It Into a Modern Rural Getaway

The Canyon Barn is set in the eastern foothills of the Cascades, and was renovated with great care to save as much original character as possible. As a result, the old flooring boards remain as the finished floor, old wood studs are used to create exposed walls, and even some fixtures were salvaged from the old barn. Three bedrooms are spread throughout the house, which blends its vintage charm with industrial elements like raw steel pipes and stairs to create a space that’s obviously updated yet feels as if it’s been there for ages.
