Peep These Six NYC Dream Homes
Below are six truly amazing properties that will inspire you to think big.

This two-story penthouse, spotted on New York Magazine, includes a living room in the first floor of a rooftop water tower — and a private roof deck with stunning views of the city.
If the gorgeous molding in this townhome by Louisa G Roeder weren’t enough to sway you, there’s also a cozy kitchen windowseat with a view of the backyard.
The rear wall of this Chelsea townhouse is comprised almost completely of glass, allowing the home to meld seamlessly with the garden beyond. See the tour in New York Magazine.
This Tribeca penthouse, spotted on New York Magazine, has an outdoor terrace that wraps around three sides of the apartment, and its own reflecting pool — almost like living in your own private garden, in the middle of New York. You can view a floor plan here. It was on the market last year but has since sold for a modest 22.5 million dollars.
And finally there’s this West Village townhouse by BWA Architects (via Desire to Inspire), with an entire wall that opens up to unite the home’s top floor with the outdoors. It’s a far cry from my fifth-floor fire escape — but hey, it doesn’t hurt to dream.
