Melanie Griffith Stars In An Ad Campaign To Sell Her Luxurious Aspen Compound
In the video, a glamorous and fit-looking Griffith is filmed walking through her 12 acre property on the back of Aspen Mountain with her real estate broker in the midst of glorious fall foliage.
The Aspen compound went on the market for $9.9 million last summer, as the Post reported exclusively.
The price has now been slashed by a million dollars. It’s now asking $8.9 million and comes with the video, where Griffith looks polished yet comfortable and casual.
The video describes the property as “The Griffith Estate on Aspen Mountain.”
Griffith and Banderas had begun to sell of their real estate assets, including a $15 million Los Angeles mansion, even before their divorce last July — after 18 years of marriage. The daughter of Hitchcock actress Tippi Hedron, of “The Birds,” Griffith was twice married to actor Don Johnson before Banderas. Their daughter, Dakota Johnson, recently starred in “Fifty Shades of Grey.”
“It’s a unique property,” said Bowden Properties’ Bob Bowden, who is Griffith’s broker. “Melanie agreed to lend her name to separate this property from the pack.”
The two story ranch home is 8,121 square feet. It includes a top of the line chef’s kitchen and a living room with a two story fireplace. The property also features a guest house and a historic cabin.
It’s the ultimate “mountain cabin in the woods,” according to the listing.
And it is in a very special spot — the back side of Aspen Mountain off of Little Annie’s Road.
It even comes with its own private ski run.
“It’s on the back side of Aspen Mountain, accessible by a back road surrounded by wilderness. This is an outdoor adventurer’s dream property,” Bowden said.
