For Sale: Live Like The Great Gatsby In This Insane Long Island Castle
A Long Island castle is on the market for $100 million.
The sprawling Kings Point waterfront compound just 25 miles from the Big Apple is centered around a stone mansion built in 1928 and two guest houses on eight acres, according to a Wall Street Journal report.
The mansion boasts unusual details, like an indoor river and a two-story doll house.
There’s also a hair salon, wine cellar and tasting room, an indoor racquetball court, gym, saunas, steam rooms and spa treatment rooms.
The interior decor features onyx, lapis, agate and malachite.
The guest homes also boast indoor pools, a bowling alley, a casino and a shooting range.
But the new owners will also have an outdoor pool with a slide and “multiple swim-up bars” overlooking Long Island Sound, where a “private pier” can dock a 200-foot yacht. There’s also a tennis court, and Japanese and English gardens.
The home was once owned by the late real estate mogul Tamir Sapir, a Soviet-born New York immigrant. The current owners bought the property two years ago for $15.85 million.
The broker is Diane Polland, of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.
